How do I join DVG America?
Join through a DVG America member club. Use the club directory to find a nearby club or one that accepts paper members, then contact that club to complete your membership.
Can any dog breed participate?
Yes. DVG America is an all-breed working-dog sport organization. Dogs do not need to be a particular breed or registered with a breed registry to train and compete.
What membership types are available?
DVG America offers full voting member (VM), spouse or partner (S/P), and youth (JGDL) memberships.
Do clubs charge additional dues?
They may. Published DVG America rates include national and regional KG dues, but individual clubs may charge separate club dues for training, facilities, or local operations.

- Find a local club and visit its training sessions to find the right fit for you and your dog.
- Work with the club to complete membership and arrange your dues. Clubs may charge additional local dues.
- Your club's Membership Officer submits your application through the LV DVG America online system.
Applications submitted directly by individuals are not accepted.
